This billet piece is a must have in racing applications where the stock oil pan has been replaced by a dry sump or short height pan. This adaptor mounts in place of the stock oil cooler and accepts a stock oil filter.
*The adjustable oil filter relocator was designed using Muzzy Sidewinder Exhaust Systems. Other sidewinder exhaust systems and turbo systems may require the use of a Yamaha 5DM-13400-00-00, Hiflo 204 oil filter or FH145 (shorter than stock). We caution that when installing this oil filter, to make sure the oil filter does not bottom out on the stud before sealing against the relocator.
**Stock oil cooler assembly will be removed and the radiator hose(s) will need to be plugged, pinched or welded shut.
